- How to Make a Flowchart in Pages!
Although Pages isn't as widely used as Microsoft Word when it comes to word processors, it is actually a very robust program that lets you arrange copy, shapes and images quickly and easily, making it perfect for time-crunched entrepreneurs. Launch Pages and open a blank document.
Choose either landscape or portrait orientation based on the space you'll need to lay out your flowchart. Click on the "Shapes" button in your toolbar, or click "Insert" and then "Shape" and select a shape.
This will be the first box or circle, triangle, star or other step in your flowchart. Adjust the size of the shape by clicking and dragging on any of the points. Change the color of your shape or remove the color fill by going to the "Graphic" tab in the Inspector window, which is available by clicking "View" and then "Show Inspector.
Select your shape by clicking on it and type the information you'd like it to contain. If you cannot see all of your copy, make the shape bigger. Repeat the first four steps to create the second piece of data in your flowchart. Select the two shapes by left clicking your mouse and dragging the cursor over each of them.
